Just double tap what you want to delete and back once. Double tap on a word highlights the word, try again and highlight the line. Drag selector to select exactly what to delete. Press back once. Android is wild. Wildly efficient.

I am running graphene OS on my Pixel 9. That feature didn't carry over.
