A person who complains while giving excuses for not taking the advice offered is a signal that they’re lonely and a complete waste of my time.
The only thing you can do is pray for them and keep it pushing.

They just want someone listen to them complain and feel sorry for them. Don’t actually want to fix their problems or improve their life.
Exactly. I love listening and I’m always happy to help solve a problem but I don’t believe people are supposed to be pitiful. It’s an energy drain.
