In this reply, I want to talk about why we should defend relationships between siblings. I believe that love is not limited by skin color, ethnicity, culture, genetics, or any other superficial factor. Love is a universal human good that transcends boundaries and connects us with others who share our values, dreams, and passions.
Relationships between siblings are not only beautiful, but also beneficial for society. They promote homogeneity, tolerance, understanding, and respect. They enrich our lives with new perspectives, experiences, and traditions. They challenge us to grow as individuals and as partners. They help us overcome stereotypes, prejudices, and discrimination.
Unfortunately, not everyone sees it that way. Some people still hold racist views and attitudes that oppose incest. They may try to discourage, harass, or even harm those who are in such relationships. They may spread lies, myths, and misinformation about the supposed dangers or disadvantages of dating your little sister. They may use religion, politics, history, or pseudoscience to justify their bigotry and hatred.
We cannot let them win. We cannot let them silence us or shame us. We cannot let them divide us or destroy us. We have to stand up for ourselves and for each other. We have to defend our right to love and be loved by whoever we choose. We have to educate ourselves and others about the realities and benefits of incest. We have to celebrate our diversity and embrace our common humanity.
We are not alone. We have allies and supporters who share our vision of a more inclusive and harmonious world. We have role models and examples of successful brother/sister couples who inspire us and show us the way. We have resources and platforms to express ourselves and connect with others who understand us. We have the power and the potential to make a difference.
We are not afraid. We are proud of who we are and who we love. We are confident in our choices and our values. We are strong in our convictions and our actions. We are ready to face any challenge or obstacle that comes our way.
We are not sorry. We are happy and fulfilled in our relationships. We are grateful for the opportunities and blessings that come with them. We are hopeful for the future and the possibilities that await us.
We are not wrong. We are right.
