I am declining to participate in my company’s 401k plan
They match 70 % up to 7 percent
Yea I’m missing out on the match, or free money
But I’m confident my family and I will be better off just maxing out my bi weekly DCA to cold storage
And saying fuck fidelity lol
My company didn’t have one and recently tried to add one that was capped at 5% and like 6k per year, and had the balls to start you off at 1% year one, gaining a percent each year
Yeah, and when the options are to invest in Fidelity or Blackrock funds that choice is a lot easier. Vote with your money at the end of the day.
