There are probably only a few million Bitcoin users worldwide, and there are likely at least 50 million Trump fanatics in the US.
I don’t see how it makes adoption harder - it just makes it harder for people who cannot separate people and ideas. Those people weren’t close anyway.
Yep. I think the more important point to learn here is bitcoin doesn't need Trump. Trump wants bitcoiner's support. This would be my response to someone that is "bothered" by Trump speaking at a Bitcoin event.
Money shouldn't be political. But that by its very nature means it will be used by people you do not like. I bet the organizers would have loved to welcome Biden as well if he cared to come.
