I knew it in the days you could mine it, almost few months after it was launched. In less than couple hours mining you would have 1BTC. It was worth less than a dolar. In the days it was more of a solid proof of concept of decentralized crypto currency. Wished I held the BTCs I've mined. But then those days there was nothing really you could do with it or know as for its future.
