No, bitcoin is already a success. 🤙
That is partially true. To provide optimal security, Bitcoin needs as much PoW computation power as possible. Which means any other amount of PoW not used for Bitcoin is a waste if you look from it in a Bitcoin perspective.
It also means that a fraction of PoW power from Bitcoin is already enough to 51 percent attack another smaller crypto project. Bitcoin is this one global currency that thrives most when it is used globally and secured with all available power.
