Afrikaans and Dutch is so much alike.

As an Afrikaans speaker I find Dutch hard to translate on the fly in my head lol they speak to fast for me to process sometimes so you sometimes just guess the missing words lol, as for Flemmish I find that a little bit easier to deal with
I find Dutch easier to read. If they speak too fast they lose me.
