last time that happened there were 3 people tied for 3rd place and 2 of them had voted for themselves - me n the sponsor decided to disqualify those two and give it to the pleb that didn’t vote for themselves.

I can’t believe I even have to say such a thing β€œdon’t vote for yourself” you’d think it was common sense, it being a contest with a prize πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

this is what I learned when I started doing these like a year ago, but so far it’s been a year and no solution that’s viable for all users on every client has came out. & honestly if someone wants to rig & game it let them their reputation is on the line and it’s extremely easy at this stage of nostr for us to notice these things. I’ll give em the benefit of the doubt.
