I just rewatched Idiocracy, and noticed something for the first time.

When Joe Bauers (Not Sure) goes forward in time, the restaurant “FUDDRUCKERS” morphs into “BUTT:FUCKERS”.

I had never noticed the colon (:) in “BUTT:FUCKERS” before. It makes sense though! People of that time would have trouble reading an unbroken word as long as “buttfuckers”.

Great attention to detail on the part of the movie creators.
