In my view he speaks about just one stat and that is passing accuracy. It's a tiny friction of stat in football and I think it's more how you evaluate these statistics (e.g. from game to game, compare players, first half/second half). Is it worth it? Maybe, maybe not. But first thing is you have to generate this data somehow.
