Although the problem is not the payment right? The issue is giving Elon access to a group of verified users and their data so he can make use of that and make even more money by selling/using it for ads.

And on top of that, verifies users will try and play by the rules or else loose their check and non-verified users are effectively shadow banned by default.

that's always been the case. if you're on twitter you play by the Twitter rules.

The new system of shadowbanning sucks and is very evident.
