mostr.pub is a bridge service between the protocols and provides any mastodon account with a unique npub which is used as the identifier on nostr.

The mastodon posts are then viewable by any nostr client that has the supported mostr.pub relays enabled.

Conversely all nostr posts can be bridged to mastodon if the nostr user has a write enable mostr.pub relay configured.

As its a bridge only between 2 protocols I haven't found or seen a way to link an existing nostr & mastodon account together.

Ditto, being built by nostr:nprofile1qqs8nsk2uy2w529fs8n4tx60u7z553e4yx5dy2nxhw4elgjgawpqlaspz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt0wd68ytnsw43qzxthwden5te0wfjkccte9eeks6t5vehhycm99ehkuegprfmhxue69uhkummnw3ezucm0d9hxvatwv35hgtnrdaksarhv08 will be both a fedi isntance and a nostr relay so will meet this task without having to use the bridge. It will require either a new instance or a migration to ditto though which noagendasocial is unlikely to do.
