I now try to control my screen time.

But when I see 90% of the people on the subway, including kids, glued to the phone, I feel as though an addict trying to quit see others' using and devastated 😅

Any tips? I’ve been shopping for a dumb phone because I don’t know what else to do.

Oh you are my company!!! I have an old iphone (iphone x). It is still too smart for me ha.

I learned to turn off my phone when it is not necessary. No social media on phone policy except some chat apps. Hence, no nostr app. No email app setup until recently my work required it. Trying to make phone boring.

However, I am on my computer all the time when I am at home. Not easy to off the screen.

It is so hard to have the social apps on your phone and NOT use them too much. Most solutions seem to be total removal of the temptation.

Agreed.

It is super addictive. Hard to control by will power. No wonder the most of humanity is hooked.

PS. I used to have a very cheap dumb phone. But the microphone was also cheap. So, it was not a good phone.
