I'm honestly surprised this hasn't happened before. And it's not like you can claim to be doing anything else with an ASIC.

Think like the enemy. Agreed. So many boxes ticked over the years with monero. Randomx was developed directly for Monero because previous implementation was not good enough. Just like ring signatures. Bitcoin is finished because moneros work is never done.
