You fear Man will engineer AG because it threatens your individual existence & relevance but if you zoomed out you realize that our minds are limited & will never be able to solve problems that are inevitable, out of our control and threatening to The universe’s existence.

I fear man will engineer this powerful tool with ideological purpose, and presentism. And that it will be used for evil, and the worst kind of evil that claims to be good. And that it will become a tool of oppression.
I also don't think problems that threaten the universe's existence are real. We made those up too. This world and the universe around us were here long before we appeared, and will be here long after we're gone.
