ok, so help me get the lingo straight...

there's the Bitcoin OGs and then... are the people in your life who are yet to dip their toes in or are super noob called Bitcoin normies?

Normies or nocoiners if they don’t get it and pre-coiners if they’re starting to get it and you think they’ll jump in.

These terms are weird. OGs implies something like they own the network.

We are all at different levels of knowledge about the tech that’s it.

Also, some “noobie” might have more Bitcoin in their wallet than the “OGs”. Thats if OGs meant whales in anyway.

All Bitcoiners are on the same level. If you have Bitcoin keys you are a Bitcoiner.

great, I like that you make that distinction about being at different levels of knowledge of the tech.

This helps me gain clarity with my original intent about this inquiry. Ultimately what I am looking to get at is figure out how to best communicate to more advanced techies about my desire to get schooled on the best way to advance my tech knowledge level so I can feel more confident at safely stacking sats before too late.

make sense?

We have a lot of very experienced nostriches. I doubt there is an answer people here can’t answer.

Yet no one claims to be OG or a techie. Just a group of plebs helping each other out.

Good luck on your journey. If I can be of any help, feel free to tag me. 🥰

Awesome :) thank you 🙏🏻

OGs are bitcoin maxis that have never strayed

then there is nocoiners, who have never used any kind of (semi-decentralised) cryptocurrency

then there is shitcoiners, who are fanatics for whatever coin cult they are part of

then there is bitcoiners, who are mostly dedicated to bitcoin but maybe they shitcoin a bit

and then there is bitcoin maxis, who maybe used to be shitcoiners but are reformed

Bitcoin og = like 7+ years in the game 10 years +

Bitcoin noob 2-4 years hahaa

Normie = no bitcoin like my cousin he's a normie

I think full cycles is an OG

what do you mean by full cycles? like a 4 year halfing event? bull run bear run holder status?

Thank you!

Curious, how would you get your cousin to a noob if he's into it but intimidated? Any resources to get the basics?

It's hard to get someone that has a good career Good credit score and all that. It is very difficult to convince them that that system is broken.

Im still throwing jabs

take someone who doesn't have all that... is struggling financially, doesn't have a good credit score and knows the system is broken, wants way out.

Lately ive been telling myself "they need to want it" it comes down to that ive tried everything.
