All the languages that allow us to exchange information are technologies among those that might be identified a ‘freedom technologies’. But then the way I understand technology, they are all ‘freedom technologies’. Setting up limits and boundaries in the way we share the world, doesn’t mean we live in a cage. Those limits are what allow us to share understanding, and without them, there is nothing.
