Why should I have to pay a monthly fee just to stream media from my own server, to my own TV, over my own internet? Insane. What are some good open-source alternatives to Plex?
Also why am I getting 0 days notice? I was given no time to prepare.

jellyfin no doubt, not only is there no bullshit like this (can you believe that plex actually used to be a good tool before? -.- ), but you also don't need to sign in to some online service to watch your own media
Any experience setting up it up with a Samsung TV? I found this: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-tizen
Sorry, don't have a samsung tv, but that looks like an official client, so I assume it will work just fine
