Idk the emo element in this, but the hard luck surely was several hits from my Mother and extreme embarrassment. Once (I was 16), got hammered and tried my best to hide it from my mother. Woke up in the middle of the night to use “the bathroom”, but it was my mother’s bedroom where her and my little 4 year old sister slept. For some reason I thought my mother’s dresser was the toilet, so I slid one of the drawers out and started P’ing in it. 🥴

She woke and exclaimed (what are you doing?!?) to which I replied: “It’s ok”

The way her dresser was positioned had my back to her so she didn’t see me like that but certainly it was clear what I was doing. The price for making one dresser drawer and a good deal of her clothes in that drawer become ruined was a hefty one, let’s just say.

I rarely — to this day — got hammered like that again.
