Political affiliation are based on mortality. Haidt shows moral taste buds in The Righteous Mind. There are conservatives, social liberals, and libertarians.

Wokeness is just a fashion trend; it's all built on how you perceive morality. You definitely don't want to do business with a woke/communist, even if they swore they wouldn't vote. You wouldn't go to a party with a conservative because you'd die of boredom.

Therefore, usually the only people worth closely interacting with are libertarians, if you are a libertarian. There are exceptions to this, but it's a good heuristic if you are looking for a business partner or life partner, to stay within your group. Saves a lot of trouble in the future.

And thankfully there are at least hundreds of millions of people in this category, so there plenty to choose from.

Unfortunately, vast majority of libertarians seem to be male. That's a problem if you are looking for a life partner.

True, but still plenty of options. Many of my libertarian friends and myself included have found amazing life partners that are libertarians.

In my case maybe even more than me, especially in the intuitive modality.

Wokes are just outright nuts, but as someone who primarily leans libertarian-anarcho-capitalist, I am not bored by conservatives nor do I not enjoy spending time with sensible (not too far gone into Socialism/Communism/Wokeism) left-leaning people.

Besides, plenty more to talk about than politics :)

What I'm claiming that it does not only apply to politics, but to many life choices and especially morality.

With a conservative, you have much higher chance they would respect agreement (contract), left leaning will be more against violence, ...

So these are real, practical, human values things that go beyond politics.

The Righteous Mind is an amazing book.

Morality not mortality
