what's your preferred vermouth and gin?
Sweet Vermouth, I like to combine Dolin and Cocchi equal parts.
Dry Vermouth, Dolin.
For Gin, it depends on what you want to make. There are so many. But thenfirst that comes to mind is Roku. It's a Japanese Gin.
Noice. Like Cocchi along side my Carpano Antico, straight though, not for Negroni. For Gin I stick to whatevers at hand, usually a Hendricks or this cheap organic portuguese white label available at Aldi for $12/bottle.
Have you tried Gin Nordés from Galicia? Not necessarily good for negroni but on it's own paired with a nice fevertree or 1796 and alvarinho grapes 😙
