Wild animal: Is free, faces starvation, danger and predation

Farm animal: Has limited freedom, will not starve but will face an early death

A pet: Not free, is well cared for, never goes hungry, lives a long life with a painless death

Which would you rather be?

Depends which wild animal and which pet. Cats with claws allowed to go outside have it pretty good. A dog with a kind owner would be pretty sweet. Depending on what wild animal I became, there's a good chance I'd never make it to adulthood.
