But a LOT of them were.

Even the war they had, gruesome as it was, was fought against ANOTHER country rather than right here at home for the past 24 years since the USA PATRIOT Act.
My uncle was a mechanic, and both owned his own large house with no mortgage in Connecticut AND a country club membership. Nuff said.
