Linux is pure mental gymnastics.
In my 10 year experience while I was testing Debian 9 I try to remove the gnome games package and wipeout the entire desktop, which in Fedora didn't have that kind of problem. Also yeah distrohop is another mental problem also loosing time.
This is called control over your OS, If you know what you doing you love Linux.
