Telegram relies on a 3rd party (afaik it is google) to translate messages - this is privacy issue none of nostr developers willing to accept imo

Forgive me, but in what way is that a privacy concern. Aren't all of these notes public? Obviously excluding DMs
If you mean public notes - it is indeed less of a concern, but it shares information on what you read with 3rd party - given recent algorithm relay promotion in regards of hiding what one reads/follows, this is a valid concern
