I removed the paper label and put the tin inside a tall pot, covered it with water and simmer it for about 3,5h. In a pressure cooker/pot is half the time. If the tin is not completely covered in water, it will explode

Here the alfajores de maizena. The dulce de leche was firm enough to pipe it into the maizena lids. I store them inside the fridge. Delicious!
