Didn’t mean to sound fiat, I’m partial to titanium because it cleans up so easily. I’ve never had a real quality wooden spoon that I would feel ok eating with. I wouldn’t want the flavor of my previous meal hanging out on it. That said, I’m sure there are decent hardwood spoons out there.

That’s some nice looking wood. What are you using these for?
I just made a bunch of them to display pottery and did a couple to hold little sculptures and stuff. They’re roughly 10x10” and have 1” legs. I made some of them with the legs further toward the center so they look like they’re floating.
