After two years full-time here on #Nostr, I'm going to say it again...

It's not a good sign that one can still reasonably measure and predict user activity based on the current price of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin goes up = more engagement.

Bitcoin goes down = crickets.

If Nostr engagement remains tied to the valuation of Bitcoin, it's not going to be Nostr; it's going to be #Notstr.

Either we #GrowNostr or we #GoNotstr

It's up to us. The time is now. #GrowNostr

Why not be happy that there is some interest rather than none? 🤔

And historically Facebook started at Harward getting high penetration in small group rather than getting 0.01% of the world because that wouldn't work.

Maybe better question what's the next group after bitcoinERS that might adopt nostr a lot
