I live on a linux PC, I have tried some of the desktop apps but I always ended up going back to a web app.
I would suggest setting up YakiHonne as well. This is my first week using a web app. Only using Damus on iPhone before.
I haven't had a lot of issues on my phone with any of the apps. I also use nostr:npub1nz64zngcqm8vj8nhrdkcjpfwn2rcaqysnxec88tqfclp5afrpglsqm0w5y on my which works really well
