I didn't know that part, I was actually referring to the demand for ivory, which serves as an incentive for it to disappear… I guess what you said helps too🫡

The ivory demand does still lead to the continued poaching of African elephants.
In most cases, (and this one in particular) the elephant was being culled as part of the parks program to increase heard size safely.
It's an incentive to prevent the species from disappearing, if they are seen as private property, it complements what you said before to preserve them
