it sometimes feels like bitcoiners can make caricatures of normal folks who don’t sit around all day wondering about what makes a good money; however, yesterday i had a friend literally loudly + proudly declare that he’d rather the US gov’t’s full faith and credit over #Bitcoin. granted he doesn’t really understand the network, but the real takeaway here is he’s aware there’s no “there” there for the dollar and is just fine with it
