The error was paying 20-30 cents per query late into a chat and >$30/month. It was just an economic decision. PPQ actually performs fairly well with the large contexts (over the API). I think the document search could be better. You only get 3 results, and it overall feels limited. Claude Projects are insane with how much data you can add in as files, and works just like search-based deep research, but with the documents.
I only use PPQ online or from Open WebUI. And I only use Claude on the web app. Can't trust the AI on the bare metal.
But what errror do you recall seeing that was costing you 20-30 cents? It was saying context exceeded or some such? Or perhaps just a vague error that you suspected had to do with the context?
You were using cline or some other tool?
I can't explain it better than I did. I was just paying too much in queries and decided to use another service.
Ah I misunderstood your phrasing and usage of the word "error". There are actually errors that happen when the context gets too big in certain tools which is why I was asking.
Lmk if you hit any sort of rate limit in Claude Code. Most subscriptions have that and many hit it pretty quick.
