Love your insights brother! I look forward to reading this tonight.

Hey Brother,

Thanks for your encouragement and for the boost.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ‘

Please let me know what you think when you get to it?๐Ÿ˜†

Had a conversation about this with my wife and girls this morning.l loved your โ€œchildishโ€ paradox of โ€œcan God make a rock so heavy he canโ€™t lift it.โ€

My wife underscored the patience of God.

Evil exists now because 1) evil began and 2) God has not eliminated evil yet.

Were God to eliminate evil now, He would be eliminating a lot of people. But out of grace He gives us time to reject evil.

Thanks for reading and interacting!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ‘

My question I ponder about isโ€ฆ did God create Man in his own image/likeness or did Man create God in their image/likeness. All these โ€œwhy would Godโ€ questions infer God is just a super humanโ€ฆ I think I usually lean towards Man creates God in Manโ€™s imageโ€ฆ so I think thatโ€™s the false dilemma.

Many men have created "gods" in their own image, resulting in nothing but deficiently inferior fictions. I think your observation that this results in false dilemmas is insightful.

In contrast to man's notion of god(s), King Jesus, the God of the Bible, transcends all the gods of man's imagination. In John's major book, the very first thing we learn is that Jesus is the Creator of every last thing that has been made. And in the first chapter of Hebrews, far outstripping the most fantastic fantasy I've ever read, God is contemplated reconstructing the entire cosmos as easily and swiftly as you or I might change jackets.

Thanks for chiming in.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜„
