The analogy that keeps coming to my mind for #bitcoin vs #fiat is that Bitcoin is like pouring water into a bowl. What you pour in stays there. Fiat is like pouring water into a colander. The water only stays there for a minute and then escapes out the holes. As long as I constantly have water flowing into it, I’m fine, but the moment I stop the flow, I look down and realize I have nothing in my bowl.
