The spin-off was supposed to unlock all this great potential. Didn’t really come to fruition. Held the stock for many years and sold after the spin off. Looks like it hasn’t done much since.

If we start talking about disappointing stonks, I’m gonna get triggered real fuckin’ quick lol.
Bitcoin existing is such a blessing 😮💨
The only stock I hold now is Block. I have sold all my equity holdings over the past year or so and bought more bitcoin.
And I am pretty much only holding Block out of principle because Jack is a big bitcoin proponent.
I do have some equity holdings in a retirement account but other than that I went from 75% real estate, 15% equities, 10% bitcoin two years ago to 55% real estate, 45% bitcoin. Give or take a percent here or there.

I don’t even know where to start with my own personal experience. It’s worthy of a novel. Tl;dr: bitcoin only, maximum pain. nostr:npub1qqvt0m3nlvjnssmrn33w9yh7cuq2dx5nkz8wxax9hk5hrjdnj4jqz8cn3w might be the only nostrich I’ve come across that understands the particular reasons underbellying it all, & nostr:npub13mhg7ksq9efna8ullmc5cufa53yuy06k73q4u7v425s8tgpdr5msk5mnym & frens the only one doing anything about it.
Bitcoin will fix the market, regardless of which.
Agreed. I would actually prefer to have less in real estate but I happen to have quite a bit of equity in my home and I don’t want to pull equity out at elevated rates before the market tanks. I sold a property a year and a half ago to get that down and I will never hold 2 properties again unless I am buying one to help get one of my kids in a house and they can pay me back over time. I don’t hate real estate as an investment, I am just very concerned about taxation and regulation. Insolvent governments are going to see wealth in real estate as the answers to their problems.
