So the older gentlemen from my local meetup that I built a seed signer for now wants me to build him a node.

Half of me says he should learn some of this himself. But on the other hand he seems contenent to pay me for the work. I know I shouldn't feel conflicted taking payment for this work because he says he values the skillset but for some reason I still am.

Am I selling myself short? This is the kind of work I love and, helping non-technical Bitcoiners run nodes is important in my book and for me building a node is a load of fun. So why in the back of my mind do I feel like Im "doing something wrong" by taking this dudes money even if so far all ive done is charge him cost for parts (in the case of the seed signer).

NGL my next therapy session is going to be interesting. 😅

If you're conflicted you can accept the job under the condition that he learn to operate the node fully by himself. This way you stack sats and create a full-fledged bitcoiner in one swoop.

i would like him to be able to run it as independently as possible but i also understand that he's 60+ and probably not going to be learning a whole bunch of new technical concepts.
