Unelected bureaucrats gave

themselves surveillance powers that would make Stalin jealous. In secret. Without oversight. Knowing you’d never approve.

They got away with it because nobody stopped them.

Now they monitor everything. Track everyone. Store it forever. Expose it and they destroy you. Question it and they smear you. Resist it and they criminalize you.

The same system that lied about wars and experiments until documents proved otherwise.

But this time is different, right?

No. It’s worse. The technology makes it permanent.

Most people will keep pretending the system will fix itself. Keep waiting for someone to save them.

We stopped waiting.
