Someone post a funny meme not too long ago, showing the acrobatic moves to make bitcoin private, when you could just use monero. I'll see if I can find it. Note, if you use exodus, they are ending support for it, so you'll have to find a different wallet for it. Also note, that like bitcoin, there is no CEO of monero. It also can be mined on a regular computer unlike bitcoin.
