I am not a friend of radicalisation but you are very right that this is mainly an education problem. People simple are not aware of how much their privacy is touched by all the digitalisation and how this could be used against them anytime later on.

Snowden once put it: "Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say."

Privacy is not about hiding criminal things but about being the owner of your own data and deciding yourself what to share with whom. And that is a basic right.
