I read the summary of these 5 books when I was researching the Israel-Palestine issue. I truly believe it is the greatest story of mankind. However, I don't think any modern summary or YouTube video can do justice to it. I should read the original text.

I went to a hippy leaning christian school and I've always been fascinated by the old testament, the wild stories (Gen 38 is one of my favorite WTF stories) and the weird dichotomy between what people think is in the bible vs what actually is.
Like, how many of the laws are more about sanitary living conditions that anything else?
