I've been playing around with WACUP. As a Winamp fan, It does almost everything I would want from a music player.
It would be cool to see HTTP Live Streaming added someday, I think VLC can do that currently, but its probably extremely low on the list.

Yeah, I give up on that front, I bounce back and forth between Linux and Windows. Its a vicious 6 month cycle, but I will say I hated the music players on Linux. Open source or not they were hot garbage. You can get by with Rhythmbox I suppose, but its slim pickings
I like quod libet, although I'm not going to lie, I just cd into a music directory and mpv *.mp3 or mpv *.ogg these days lol
