Does anyone seriously believe that if quantum computers do crack SHA256 the first thing they’ll target is Bitcoin? In my opinion when they do finally get around to destroying Bitcoin the world will have been on fire for a long time and Bitcoin will not matter anymore.

Seems to me that they could just target everything at once. Also doesn’t matter where on the target list it sits.
