You can do whatever you want as long as you don't lie about having no counterparty that can rug you.
Fair enough. As noted, it was a quote of the day and I wanted to make a social card to drop on people to encourage them to join nostr with such quotes and links to what they need so the 2 are placed together here but wasn’t intended to be misleading.
I would only mention the apps used as examples as I'd prefer to promote the actual protocols.
Bitcoin/LN:
✅ Promote decentralization, security, convenience, etc.
❌ Promote apps such as WOS, Bluewallet, Coldcard etc.
Nostr:
✅ Promote decentralization, anonymity, zaps, etc.
❌ Promote Damus, Amethyst, Iris, etc.
Apps come and go while protocols last forever.
That misses the entire point of what this is trying to achieve.
The quote is meant to be a hook, to get someone’s attention instead of trying to explain the benefits of #nostr
The apps are there to get people to quickly access #nostr instead of trying to walk someone through a full setup.
The intent here was a graphic to drop on a Twitter thread when someone gets banned and everyone is complaining about it for example.
