I'm a big fan of D&D and have been playing since 1979. (but that is another story). About five years ago, I started playing #CypherSystem.

In a prior post I talked about how challenges are done (combat, skill tests, actions). This is about making a character.

All Characters in Cypher System start with the following statement: "Name" is a "Descriptor" "Type" who "Focus". Or "Name is an Adjective, Noun who Verbs"

My name Is Inigo Montoya, I am a Questing Swordsman who is looking for my fathers killer.

Or "Bob, is a Lazy, Fighter who likes animals."

From there you build your character.
