Do you think Trump's statement about Bitcoin being "Made in the USA" money might be preconditioning for currency reform?
Discussion
It was such an odd thing to say. Bitcoin as patriot money...
Like "freedom fries", but for a digital currency.
opportunist optimistically selling things. so many roads lead to intelligence
No, just average trump speak
pure demagoguery
I wouldn't read into it that much. It's just spouting random bullshit to try to get people to vote for him.
He said it because he hasn't got a fucking clue what he's talking about. He's a narcissistic sociopath...... Or a very stable genuis. Take your pick🤷🏻♂️.
I think there are thoughts for some currency related activity. Not necessarily reforms or anything. I mean the petrodollar is over since a few days and commerse is conducting increasingly in other currency than dollar. Wouldn't be a big surprise if USA will have to take measures in the not so distant future
Yeah, I think this could potentially go really fast, actually.
He said he would prosecute crooked also, you know a politician is lying because their lips are moving.
he has the common sense that anything not harmful that is made in the USA and sold globally is a net positive for the USA.
It's a meme, a slogan intended to get votes. I do not have any faith in any politician to tangibly improve the lives of US citizens using Bitcoin.
It is, however, good to see the Overton window shift to where presidential candidates are taking about Bitcoin as part of our energy security. It'd be interesting to have all the MAGA people pour into Bitcoin.
Donald Trump just says shit to try out applause lines on his moronic audiences.
Any actual American Bitcoiner would want mining to be as globally-dispersed and decentralized as possible.
