I believe it is about incentives. The manufacturer is incentivezed to produce quality cars that don't break down. Buyers are incentivezed to buy cars that break down less frequently as it saves them time and headaches.

Customer service is the heartbeat of any business! When you pay for a service or product and are treated with respect and satisfaction, and your feedback is acknowledged, it's the key to the success of the company!
