I recently was running into failed zaps and failed lightning sends. I noticed that I have a pending zap. I think the nuts tied up in that transaction were being re-used in my new transactions causing a "already spent" failure. The "remove spent eCash" option of Recovery Options within Settings has got the zaps flowing out again.
