I’m travelling to Europe this summer for a wedding in Venice.

Going to fly into Amsterdam and try to get to Venice from there.

Does anyone have experience travelling in Europe?

Looking mostly for tips on accommodations and I’d love to take a train for most of the jaunt.

Couch surfing is the most fun. You can find cheap hotels in villages, or just ask people you met if you can sleep there for a night

If you only travel with a carry-on, flying is incredibly cheap to get around.

I’m a shitty packer.

I pack well but I don’t like being unprepared for anything.

But yea that is my goal.

Carry on is much more easy when traveling in trains too, because don't relay on a taxi to get somewhere from the train station.

My ideal route would be

Amsterdam

Frankfurt

Nice

Barcelona

Then to Venice ✈️

But we haven’t really decided on the route yet. We just have to finish in Venice for the wedding. Flying home from there
