I see the file if accessing https://github.com/theospatial/theospatial.github.io/blob/master/.well-known/nostr.json

but not

https://github.com/theospatial/theospatial.github.io/.well-known/nostr.json so maybe some virtual direction config? I'm not familiar with hosting on github. Mine is hosted on an ubuntu VM

Oh, I got it to work! I had only repied to #[2] . It was github not publishing the /. folders despite being pushed. Had to circumvent. Thank you for continuing to investigate.
